On July 9, 2023, Superintendencia General de Electricidad y Telecomunicaciones (SIGET) in El Salvador published Resolución No. T-0408-2023 which updates the Cuadro Nacional de Atribución de Frecuencias (CNAF) to allocate the 6 GHz frequency band (5925-7125 MHz) for unlicensed use when it is used for Wi-Fi applications by low power devices indoors.
