Basic Introduction
Iran certificated export COI (Certificate Of Inspection), which stands for conformity Inspection, is the relevant Inspection required by Iran's mandatory legal Inspection Of imports. When the exported products are within the scope Of COI (Certificate Of Inspection) list and the importer conducts customs clearance, the importer must conduct Inspection and issue the Certificate according to the Iranian national standard ISIRI. To obtain certification for export to Iran, relevant certification is required by an authorized third party organization.
Most industrial products, equipment and machinery imported into Iran are subject to mandatory certification procedures developed by ISIRI (Iran's Standard Industrial Research Institute). Iran's import regulations are complex and require extensive documentation. For details, refer to the List of Mandatory Certification products in Iran for products subject to ISIRI "compliance verification" procedures.
Products mentioned in this list will only be eligible for ISIRI Certificate of Conformity (CoC) on the basis of Conformity verification provided by an Iranian government-approved inspection company; The certificate of conformity issued by ISIRI is a necessary document for import customs clearance of goods. As importers, they must confirm with the competent authorities of the Iranian government whether the products they import must follow the compulsory certification procedures and provide the relevant documents required for certification.
Iran VOC certification (Conformity certification) is the mandatory Conformity assessment procedure in Iran. ISIRI is authorized by the Iranian government through the ministerial order to manage the quality of the goods imported to Iran to protect the safety, health and environment of the public, avoid the impact of low quality products on the relevant industry, and issue the clearance certificate issued by the Iranian customs according to the results of sampling inspection.
