US ETL Certification
Certification Introduction
ETL is the abbreviation of ETL Testing Laboratories Inc. It was founded by Thomas Edison in 1896 and is an NRTL (National Accredited Laboratory) accredited by OSHA (Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration). The ETL mark is the exclusive mark of Intertek Group. Any electrical, mechanical or electromechanical product with the ETL inspection mark indicates that it has been tested and complies with relevant industry standards. ETL's safety certification mark has the same effect as the UL mark in North America.
• ETLus mark (only us, no c): a safety mark for the product to enter the US market.
• cETL mark (only c, no us): a safety mark for the product to enter the Canadian market.
• cETLus logo: a safety logo for products entering the US market and the Canadian market.
