China Energy Efficiency Label Certification
Basic Introduction
In August 2004, the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly formulated and issued the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Measures (hereinafter referred to as the Measures), which indicated that China would implement the energy efficiency labeling system.
China Energy Efficiency Labeling Energy efficiency labeling is an information label attached to a product or the minimum package of a product. It is used to indicate the performance indicators such as the energy efficiency grade of an energy-using product and provide necessary information for users and consumers to make purchase decisions and guide users and consumers to choose energy-efficient products. The establishment and implementation of energy efficiency labeling system is of great significance to improve the energy efficiency of energy consuming equipment, improve consumers' awareness of energy saving, speed up the construction of energy-saving society and alleviate the contradiction of energy constraint faced by the comprehensive construction of well-off society.
According to the measures, the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the CNCA are responsible for the establishment and implementation of the energy efficiency labeling system. For the products listed in the Catalogue, uniform energy efficiency marks shall be marked on the products or on the conspicuous parts of the minimum package of the products, and such marks shall be explained in the product manuals. Energy efficiency labeling adopts the implementation mode of producer or importer self-declaration, filing and government departments strengthening supervision and management.

The ENERGY efficiency LABEL is on a blue and white background, with "CHINA ENERGY LABEL" at the top and a sticky back that requires it to be affixed to the front panel of the product. The structure of the logo can be divided into background information column, energy efficiency grade display column and product related indicators display column. As a kind of information, energy efficiency label visually express the energy-using products level of energy efficiency, energy consumption index and other important performance indexes, and the energy efficiency level is to determine whether a product, the most important index of energy saving product, the lower the level of energy efficiency, said the higher energy efficiency, energy saving effect, the better, the province electricity. At present, China's energy efficiency label divides energy efficiency into five grades: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Grade 1 indicates that the product reaches the international advanced level and saves the most electricity, that is, consumes the least energy. Grade 2 indicates relatively energy saving; Grade 3 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is the average level of the Chinese market. Grade 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is below the market average; Level 5 is the market access index, and products below this level are not allowed to be manufactured and sold. In order to popularize awareness of energy saving and efficiency enhancement among various consumer groups, the display column of energy efficiency grade uses three forms of expression to directly express the information of energy efficiency grade: one is the text part of "low, medium and high energy consumption"; Second, the number part "1, 2, 3, 4, 5"; The third is according to the emotional arrangement represented by the color of the grade indicating color standard, red on behalf of prohibition, orange, on behalf of warning, green on behalf of environmental protection and energy saving.
