The CB system (IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Products) is an international system operated by the IECEE. Certification bodies in the MEMBER states of the IECEE test the safety performance of electrical products based on IEC standards. The aim is to reduce international trade barriers resulting from having to meet certification or approval criteria in different countries. IECEE is the short name of the Organization for conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical products of the International Electrotechnical Commission.
