VEET Certification in Victoria, Australia
VEET is a voluntary certification program in the Australian state of Victoria, where certified products receive government subsidies. It mainly includes two categories of products. One is the lighting bulb used for replacing incandescent lamps, which is mainly included in Chapter 21 of SCHEDULE. The second is SCHEDULE 34, which mainly includes upgrading of architectural and non-architectural lighting products.
On April 1, 2021, the Australian State of Victoria Basic Services Commission announced the new lighting products voluntary energy conservation certification scheme application guide VEET1.6, the change is mainly accompanied by the integration and development of product performance, increased part of the performance of the product series testing rules, reduce the product testing economic burden. Major changes include color temperature adjustable lighting products, testing conditions for product families with lighting controls, and model and brand requirements for LED lighting drivers.
