North American BACL Certification
Certification Introduction
BACL is the abbreviation of Bay Area Compliance Laboratories Corp., founded in 1996 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA, and is the world's leading testing and certification organization. On April 6, 2017, BACL was successfully recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as the 16th NRTL testing and certification agency. It is also a North American safety certification body accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and an NRCan certification body accredited by the Canadian SCC. The cBACLus mark is Beko's North American safety certification mark, which provides testing and certification services for products entering the US and Canadian markets. The cBACLus logo has been widely recognized and accepted by major retailers in North America, and enjoys the same high reputation as UL. As long as it bears the cBACLus logo, it means that the product has been tested to meet the applicable standards in the United States and Canada, and can enter both markets at the same time. Equivalent to other NRTL agencies (eg UL, ETL, MET, cTUVus) cBACLus.
1. BACL North American Safety Certification Mark:
• BACLus mark (only us, no c): a safety mark for the product to enter the US market.
• cBACL mark (only c, no us): a safety mark for products entering the Canadian market.
• cBACLus mark: a safety mark for products entering the US market and the Canadian market.
