ENEC Certification
Certification Introduction
ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) is a certification program of CENELEC (European Commission for Electrotechnical Standardization) for specific products that meet European standards (such as lighting equipment, components, and office & Generic European Standard for data equipment). European countries have their own national certification marks, while ENEC is a safety certification mark covering the whole of Europe.
As a valuable addition to CE marking, the European Standard Electrical Certification (ENEC) scheme is widely recognized in the European Union. The European Standard Electrical Certification (ENEC) scheme, authorised by the European Electrical Products Certification Association, allows manufacturers and importers to clearly demonstrate compliance with European Standard (EN)-related product safety requirements through testing by an independent third-party testing laboratory. Since ENEC certification must be issued by a professionally designated third-party organization, ENEC is a reliable certification mark with higher value than the mandatory CE mark based on the manufacturer's self-declaration in Europe.
ENEC certification also includes audits of production plants and annual sampling tests to ensure that products continue to comply with European standards.
