SRRC Certification
Certification Introduction
SRRC is the State Radio Regulation Committee, also known as the State Radio Regulation Committee. In 1998, the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center were merged to form the National Radio Monitoring Center of China.
In 1999, the Chinese government set special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies are legally used in China. That is, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in China will be assigned different frequencies. In addition, the applicant must pay attention to the scope of the requirements of certain radio transmitting equipment and apply not only for "Radio Type Approval certification", but also for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or Network Access License (MII).
SRRC certification (also known as SRMC certification) can be understood as radio type approval certification.
SRRC Certification Mark
No special marking, just a set of type approval codes (CMIIT ID:XXXXXXXXXX).

Certification Significance
In order to strengthen the control over the import and production of radio transmitting equipment, radio transmitting equipment exported to the People's Republic of China or produced (including trial production) in the People's Republic of China, All must hold the Type Approval Certificate of Radio Transmitting Equipment issued by State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) after type approval of their transmitting characteristics. Model approval code (CMIIT ID) must be indicated on the label of the factory equipment before it can be marketed for sale. Generally speaking, only the radio transmitting equipment with the type approval code of China's radio transmitting equipment can be sold and used in China's radio transmitting equipment.
At present, some e-commerce platforms have issued SRRC certification requirements for relevant products. Please note that relevant enterprises will not be removed from the shelves due to failure to provide SRRC certificates. In addition, the follow-up model approval certification of national sampling, local sampling will be more and more strict, there have been a number of enterprises have been reflected in the relevant departments sampling.

SRRC certification is not required for micro power (short range) radio equipment, such as 27MHz, 40MHz remote-controlled aircraft and remote-controlled car in the toy category.
